Ultrasonic Technology – the right approach for inspection:
Ultrasonic technology is versatile and localized
Can be easily blocked or shielded
Can be used in noisy environments
Provides early warning of potential problems via ultrasonic sound changes
Very easy to use
The Ultraprobe® 2000ATEX reports data in three modes: audio channel (single headset, selected for heavy industry), uniquely designed dual-mode analog device, vibration analyzers, and sound recorders (via heterodyne output).
Adaptable to test any process equipment problem:
FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT minimizes ambient noise, helping the user focus on the problem
MEASUREMENT MODE converts response time from real-time to average, allowing precise tuning for leak and mechanical inspection
Converts ultrasonic sound into audible sound
Sensitive only to ultrasonic frequencies; ignores low-frequency noise, allowing use in noisy environments
Standard kit includes everything needed for line inspection:
ULTRAPROBE pistol grip with housing, ballistic meter, frequency dial, 10-turn potentiometer, precision numeric calibration knob, bi-mode measurement selector switch, battery, low battery indicator, battery charger
Industrial noise-reducing headset
Battery charger kit, main body, and warble tone generator
Halliburton aluminum carrying case
Trisonic scanning module for airborne ultrasonic sounds such as pressure, vacuum, and electrical emissions
Rubber focusing probe to narrow scanning angle
Stethoscope (contact type) probe for bearings, steam traps, and valves
Extension probe increases stethoscope reach by 78 cm (31 inches)
Warble tone generator with amplitude selection knob for testing
Comprehensive instruction manual
Only this configuration is ATEX certified.
